Chairman of the Board received the Certificate of Merit for the cause of education and training
On the morning of November 20, at the meeting to celebrate the Vietnamese Teacher Day at NUCE, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of Vinaconex - Chairman of Cotana Group - Member of the Council of NUCE was honored to be received a certificate of merit from the Minister of Education and Training for his outstanding contributions to the development of education and training.

Every year, to this day, the entire Board of Directors and employees of Cotana Group are deeply moved and proud of their old boat, before becoming an entrepreneur in the construction and real estate sector was once a teacher.
Referring to Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh, many people will remember him as a senior executive at many large construction companies such as: Chairman of the Board of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation (Vinaconex); CEO of Ecopark Group; Vice Chairman of the Board of Asia - Pacific Investment Joint Stock Company (API) ... and is a consultant, giving birth to many real estate projects such as: Ecogarden - Hue; Ecopark ecological urban area; Palm Garden and Green House in Viet Hung Urban Area ...
But few people know that, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh graduated from the NUCE, majoring in construction and taught here for 33 years before turning to stick with the career of an entrepreneur. But perhaps it was the time a student had to study in extremely poor circumstances, it was the mind of a teacher and the vision of a leader that made him always respect human education. Because according to him, the sustainable development of an enterprise or the survival of a country depends on people. Because of that, he always treasures, nurtures and contributes to the educational cause in Vietnam through meaningful and effective activities.

The Supporting Fund for Talented Student of the Construction Course (FSC) - the result of the close cooperation between Cotana Group and NUCE was born from the mind of a teacher and the stature of an entrepreneur for future generations of the country.

Established in 2011, in the past 10 years, FSC Fund - through the annual CSC Award has awarded more than 100 students representing 11 faculties and institutes of NUCE with a total prize value of more than 1 billion VND. In which the award for the candidate who won the highest prize is 150 million VND, which was awarded in 2019.
FSC Fund operates nationwide and hopes to give more awards to excellent students at other universities in Vietnam in the future.
