Cotana Group joins hands to fight the Covid 19 epidemic

Anti-epidemic at construction sites

The construction site is the workplace of a large number of workers from many different localities, so the control and prevention of Covid-19 is strictly implemented by Cotana Group in accordance with regulations.


 
Regarding propaganda, the commanding committees of construction sites quickly disseminated and detailed instructions on how to prevent Covid-19 to each employee and worker through posters at the Commanding Board's office, the gate to the construction site and some locations near the construction workers. Regularly remind people to read to have knowledge to protect themselves and the community.
Regarding prevention, Cotana Group thoroughly applied mandatory medical measures such as: Disinfection with hand sanitizer; body temperature measurement; wearing masks for employees and workers entering and leaving the construction site; keep a distance of 2m while working. In addition, the site command committee also have many different initiatives to strengthen disease control such as: Separating the work site area and the resting area separately; divide work shifts according to different time frames to avoid crowded contact.


Mr. Tran Quang Quyen - Deputy General Director of Cotana Group said that the Company's Board of Directors has requested the Site Command Committee to disinfect once a week and clean the site after working hours. In addition, Cotana Group requires subcontractors and teams to provide medical declarations and travel schedules of all employees and workers before entering the construction site. Individuals who are working at the site are advised not to travel, move away from the area where they are living and working to avoid the risk of infection from the community.



Anti-epidemic at the office

With office in Hanoi and Hue, 100% of employees entering and leaving the office have their body temperature checked, disinfected and wear masks. In addition, all employees are also required to declare travel schedules from the end of April to now. For employees with complicated travel schedules, especially those who have been through areas currently detected as epidemic points, they will be asked to self-isolate and work online from home. Due to the rapid development of this epidemic, to ensure the safety of employees as well as comply with the recommendation not to gather in crowds of the Ministry of Health, the Company's Board of Directors immediately decided to temporarily suspend the important events of the Company.


Accompanying the doctors and soldiers on the front lines against covid 19, Cotana Group hopes that the serious and timely implementation of prevention measures at the company's office and construction sites will contribute to the common development. Together with the whole country to quickly repel the epidemic.
